If you post this to the clasifieds at:

www.thesamba.com

www.germanlook.com

www.superbeetlesonly.com

there is probably someone with fuchs on their bug that would trade you.

I'd love them for my car, but don't have the fuchs.

Is this an early turbo? If so, you should look for some 8&9 15's!
Rare early option combo.

Thanks, it is a 1977 and 7 and 8 x 16 were what it came with from the factory.

I trying to put it back to the way it was purchased.

FYI:
76 and 77 turbos came with 15's (7&8). 78 was the first year for 16's.
Try a post on the tech page if you don't believe me.

WRONG,

76 yes,

you need to check your facts:Sticker on car and owners manual state
front 7 j x16 light alloy with 205/55 vr 16
rear 8j x 16 light alloy with 225/50 vr 16

If you need me to scan a copy of my owners manual please let me know.

How much are you willing to wager?

Greg,
Settle down. Clearly the 16's were an option I was unaware of, or possibly came on the later 77's. Most 77's came with 15's though. I think they look much more period and unique anyway. 16's are so tipical.
Just my 2 cents. Hope I haven't offended.
