Looking for 951/928 (Posible trade?)

Im looking for a really nice 944 turbo, any year, or nice 928.
Car needs to be around $8k to $10 range, and be in pretty good shape and well maintained. Working A/C is a must ,its hot here.

Not looking for a basket case or a major project. Needs to be a driver.

Id posibly like to trade my 93 BMW 740i, Dealer maintianed with 3 inch stack of records. Including orginal window sticker for $56,000. Car has 125,000 miles on it, engine has 70,000 on it. BMW replaced the engine some years back because of a recall. Has all new suspension. Has a K40 sonar/radar/lasar detector built in.

Anything out there? Please also send your car info even if you dont want to trade, it will be easy for me to outright sell the BMW if I have to.

Im in Charlotte NC

Dave

Ill post some pics in the morn.

I got the 740 on a whim, Now am porschless.Selling because I thought my wife would drive it, but its a bit more car than she needs. And I really want a P-car.

The 740 is a great car, and is super nice. Ive got all the records since new.

The only thing It needs is a headliner, and it really isnt a must...

Ill post the details and pics. Its Black on Tan leather, has 6 disc CD changer, indash radar, dual climate control, and is fast and powerfull. Has 4 liter V8 with traction control.

More Pics click here

The only things it needs are: headliner is hanging in the back about 4 inches or so . Its glued and tacked up, Doesnt bother me, but would need to be done to make perfect. The armrests hava some wear, but not noticiable when folded up.

I have about 3 to 4 inches stack of records. BMW replaced engine at 49k the car has 125k on it. AC was replaced 2 years ago, it will freeze you out. Suspension work done as well as alot of other stuff. All woodgrain is in good shape. Almost no wear on seats. Never smoked in. Tires have abou 50% left or so.

Options:
Keyless with alarm
6 disc cd changer(in trunk)
dual climate control
power seats
sliding sunroof
onboard computer
Hidden K40 UN3000 Laser/rarad detector with front and rear sensors (works great)
Factory wired for phone
selector bad weather switch on consol
Lots of other standard stuff too
.

I know of a very nice 951 in Omaha, NE. It's posted here on the classified page. Seller is asking $8500 but will need a belt change soon so the price is negotiable. All other services up to date, complete history, guards red/black. See "951 for sale" post. Pm me if you want pictures. Very, very nice car. Daily driver for sure.
