its a 911, so it does have some leaks. It does not have the leaking problems normally associated with 964's. No, it does not burn any oil.
thanks for asking, Don

Do I read it right? Is it really at 130K miles? Wow! With those wheels, I bet it rides like a buckboard..........No wonder you want to part with it. Should you simply find the original Porsche wheels, perhaps you would keep it.

Mr. Pate- did you read the list of suspension details for this car in the description?? I really don't think the 17 inch wheels are an afterthought ! Have you ever driven or rode in a 964 with a new and sport-minded suspension with 17s?? You might be impressed.
I have seen this car. To say that the car's condition/ appearance belies its' mileage is an understatement!! It is one of the cleanest 964s around regardless of mileage. Inside and out, top to bottom- it is one clean car. Here is a link to a higher quality picture of the car that does it a little more justice. http://www.drivebyguy.com/KimnDons964.htm Good luck with the sale Kim and Don. Someone will be getting a car from a good home. ![]() max

Hi there JWPATE and Max,
JWPATE - Im not sure what to say, several things come to mind... The RS springs can give you a harder ride if installed with say Bilsteins. Boges are stock oem shocks for 964s and rather soft. The RS springs and Boge combo offers a ride that I think is perfect IMO. Its not harsh or jaring. A 964 can not be compared to a early car in ride quality. btw - I love this car and dont want to sell her! If it wasnt for employment issues I would keep this car forever! I have owned several early 911's and the 964 is the best so far. MAX - Thanks for your thoughts on what you saw and the extra pics! Thanks for taking the time! Thanks for looking, Don

I have a friend who has done similar mods to his '91 C2, also with 17" wheels.
It certainly doesn't 'ride like a buckboard' whatever that is. But it doesn't ride like a Buick, either. It's very capable in the twisties and handlies road irregularities very well -- just like a Porsche should.

This is an ad for a car for sale, not "what do you think of my car" or anything else. I doubt you would like it very much if you were trying to sell something and somebody posted similar comments. |

If you need any help with your 964 feel free to ask, I should at least be able to point you in the right direction if I cant help, Don 310-694-6661 |

Don, and others,
Where do I begin? Probably a simple apology would be a good start; really didn't intend the impression I made. This looks to be one great C2. And the price is more than fair, especially considering the condition and impressive list of upgrades. If I didn't already have one, I would be on the way over for a first hand look. My comment about a "buckboard ride" is really only a reflection of my own experience. My C2 came from the original owner, about 5 years back, with 17 inch wheels. I have always felt that the low profile necessary to retain a close rolling radius match with the original 16 inch rims, has resulted in a harsh ride. It is fine at speed, but over small bumps I can just feel every pebble on the road. Not that all should agree with me on this point. I am 63 now and like comfort. Again, I feel very sorry for any unplesant reactions, which my ill-thought-out remarks have left. Best of all to you Don.........the car will surely sell at that price, to some lucky person. James |

Hey guys the car was sold to a reseller. If you still want the car you can find it at the dealership off of PCH and Aviation for $24900.
