Special end of production R1100S
There seems to be a special end of production R1100S of wich 60 are made and every dealer in Germany will get one.It has all carbon fiber bodywork and an all Carbonfiber seat unit(so no steel sub frame)and special dash.
  I think it looks pretty cool only don't like the color.

replaced the analog speedo with a digi huh. Would be curious as to the price.

Digital speedo is way cool!
I hope they offer it as an aftermarket upgrade to us, their loyal customers who supported this bike from the beginning. I do think the color scheme of the bike in the pic is pretty ghey.

I think you are mistaking the up pipe of the exhaust for an aluminium sub frame it should be all carbon.

I'll take the old skool analog speedo. That looks like something they got from J.C. Whitney. Obviously a "stick it on there" solution. Not terribly classy. Nobody mentioned those mirrors either.

I believe this to be a "dealer" item as there is a company who already makes the carbon fiber tail section w/aluminum replacement subframe and side panels made completely of Carbon Fiber. Also there is a race/data computer made that will go in the speedo slot and looks similar to the unit picture above. I would bet that is not a digital speedo but a data unit. Notice the absence of rear foot pegs and the solo seat as well as the lack of rear turn signals.

BMW Atlanta.... take a closer look, there is turnsiglals on the back. They are just hard to see. You will notice a little bit of the exhaust sticking out the back. The turn signal is covering it. You can also see a little bit of the clear lens.
T The mirrors on the 05s are in the same place as that one.
