For anyone interested in a Fidanza Flywheel....

As noted in my other post about this issue Flywheel I recently ordered a Fidanza flywheel for my 1985.5 944 NT. Well the one I received did not look anything like the old flywheel that came off the car...conclusion is that they sent me the wrong flywheel. Here is where it gets interesting....In the online catalogs it lists the correct flywheel for the 85.5 944 NT as part # 199441, which is the number of the flywheel that I received. So after calling Fidanza and confusing them about my problem we finally concluded that their catalog is incorrect! One must understand that there are many ways of getting at their catalog and some list the 944 NT as 199441 and others list the 944 Turbo as 199441. So he tells me the correct one is 199001 which is the same number as the 924 Turbo In the end, they updated some of their catalogs but not all, go figure so if you are interested in getting one of these the correct numbers (according to Fidanza themselves) are: 199241 80-82 924 Turbo, 199001 81-88 944 NT, 199441 85-91 944 Turbo. Thus BEWARE if you see an application chart for Fidanza and DON'T see these numbers, THEY ARE WRONG and you should consult the dealer before ordering (which they will most likely hand you off to Fidanza anyways). Hopefully they will send me the correct one now
