I wonder what happened after the first auction for this motor. Here is a link to the previous, completed auction. It reportedly sold for 4500 quid.

I asked the same question, aparently the buyer turned up and started haggling before even looking at the engine properly, so the seller told him to bike it!..

I'm sorry andyjboy, it seems you have your wires crossed. My Ebay username is manipou!! funny that. I can only imagine that you are trying to compromise peoples interest in this auction so that you can hopefully get it cheaper. It is an impressive list of cars you have after all. a spare engine might come in handy. If this is your motive then don’t bring me into it......Doesn’t even make sense that I would have won the previous auction only to bring peoples attention to it here?!?!...

Well Mr Sherlock, I stand by my post, I only have one username on Ebay.
Antonslimited is my local Porsche garage who are restoring my RS Replica. That is why I asked you to send the steeering wheel there with my name on it. I do obvioulsy know them and that is how I knew about the 2.7 Engine.

I do not however know the seller of the engine or have anything to do with the sale of it on Ebay. I have never bid for it and do not plan on bidding for it as I already have a 663 engine to go in my car.

I however do find it a personal intrusion when people claim to know things about me that are not true. I suggest that you retract your last comments especially the one that says the engine sale is a scam as it is not.

You have no interest in this engine so I guess you just do not have anything better to do than make accusations.

Nick... '3 closely related ebay names' ? Who is the third? I assume that you mean the seller of the engine. I would like to know how you came to that conclusion.
