I might nibble at the bait. What classes is the car currently being run in and with which groups. Any log books and race history.

How about some more details shots of the roll cage installation.

KALLGREN -
Car can run PCA 3R/S or SCCA GT2. Have SCCA log book and VSSCA logbook from previous owner. Cage is full FIA compliant cage with NASCAR style bars on drivers side. Will get more pics of the interior and cage construction.

Hi David,

Post a 3/4 shot as well, god willing.

Are the suspension pick up points original "S" or updated to "RSR" specs? What wheel sizes are you running?

The photos clearly show electromotive ignition components. Is the big tank inthe smugglers box a relocated pirmary oil tank? I can't figure out what the little square heat sink dillio is at what I guess is the oil return tube.

Seems to have brake bias adjustment.

Is there a wiper motor still installed?

Are the two "coke cans" installed behind the fuel cell fuel pumps?

What is the "innovate" black box?

Finally how about some details on this golden child trailer.

Sorry for all NQ questions for those experts out there.

BK

Which panels are glassfibre? From the engine compartment shots this looks like a semi-tube frame chassis.

BK and any other interested .

Answers are as follows.
The car has 930 trailing arms. Special pivot boxes were installed to accomodate this change. The rear panel covers the adjusters, I will post a picture of this. The rear shocks mounts have RSR style reinforcements. Front suspension has raised spindles.

The sixteen quart capacity oil tank in the front is made by a company called Champans. It pretty much is a drop in with no mods made to the smugglers area. The little square thing on the fuel cell is a in line oil filter screen that is cleanable and allows for inspection. There is a spin on type oil filter on the engine that uses 964 turbo style mount.

No wipers installed as I do not run the car in the rain. I do have a complete wiper assembly that goes with the car.

Those are dual fuel pumps with separate pickups in the fuel cell.

Innovate box is for the O2 exhaust sensor. Helps monitor the air/fuel mixture for the carbs.

Rear and front fenders, hood, front and rear bumpers and passenger side door is fiberglass. Drivers door is metal and I have another metal passenger door that is excellent. Rear decklid and spoiler are fiberglass ala RSR replica.

Wheels are 16x10 front and 16x12 rear. The flares are 11" and 13" respectively.
It really is a full frame chassis with only a small section of the rear rails removed for the "slick" quick engine change setup.

Thanks for your interest
David

Any more photos of the cage construction and, of course, the trailer? I have been traveling recently and just back to the states.

Bump for a really good buy for someone, I have that much in my setup and have a car not nearly as hot and an $11K (new) trailer! Talk about a great DE ride!

Car weighs 2013 (weight used for corner balancing) trailer weighs ~3100. You could pull all this with a F150 or chevy similar. I use something larger.

Cheers.

Small spares package that includes, another fiberglass hood, complete alternator and fan assembly pads, aeroquip fittings and lines, believe I have a windshield, 3.8 RSR tail. There are a few more odds and ends, so if interested please feel free to contact me.

Cheers,
David

Any interest in trades? I have 85 Carrera and a 1969E that I am looking to sell to get a race car.

The 1969E was the project car at classic motorsports magazine (http://www.classicmotorsports.net/news.php?cat=2) The 85 is pretty much stock, bolt in dasport rollbar and simpson harnesses which I have used for DE events.
