SOCG Drive: January 22nd: The Official Thread

Let me start off with the basics:

Start Location: Starbucks on Ortega Highway, San Juan Capistrano - Left hand side of street.
Start Time: 7:45am - arrive anytime before, plan to leave around 8:00am.
Route: I will have a map up when I get home tonight so stay tuned.

I think I'm in..... Or at least, it's starting to look better...
I'm finally on to what has been the root cause of my rough running engine demons... Fuel injector on cylinder#5 is the culprit. Just for good measure, the remaining 5 will be replaced by the end of today...

I will soon likely start a thread on my new fix for the infamous 3.2 rough running/hesitation problem that is becoming more common by the day!

OK, here is the map for Sunday. We can stop somewhere in Orange for lunch if you guys would like and stop somewhere on Antonio for a restroom stop for all those that get a drink from Starbucks before we leave. I want to get a few good photos on Sunday so clean up your cars.

I really appreciate the personal invite! I won't be able to join in as I just pulled the 3.2 last weekend in the process of installing the new 3.6. I will join in as soon as possible. One day I'll get synched up with you guys again.

I heard a nasty rumor about rain on Sunday.

I'll have to skip lunch however, on the way to Orange I'll just turn off of Antonio as I live 5 minutes from Antonio/Santa Margarita Pkwy.

Guess who's back!

The jewel is back and running, DeVitto just called me about an hour ago with the good news. Car is running like a top and sunroof is all fixed up (cable was broken) got new rear tires, new alignment.

So I am in! Hey, I thought these runs were on Saturday's?
