I have some 10mm "vs" Schnorrs or here is a link for the 8mm but they only have the "s". (vs is the ideal strength)

http://www.fastenal.com/web/products/detail.ex?sku=0130153

There is no minimum. I recently purchased 50 of the 8mm.

Interesting - are they only available in Nordic countries?

I'm think about those in the context of the recent discussion on the best ways to lock those bolts in...

Nordlock...wow

Check the video out. Very promising for our CV loosening difficulties.

Dunno if they are available in US. I do know though that they are pricey and a b***h to loosen once you torque them down

I use them to secure big MC16 12.9 bolt that fastens uniball to chassis on coilover conversion spring plates.

Look under "Washers" in the McMaster Carr directory and you will see the Schnoor (Bellville) and the Wedge Lock. They have metric sizes and they are prices are resonable.

Does McMaster sell all of their items in Yellow zinc or something equivalant to the Porsche parts (cadmuim coated?).

Want to set up a parts shelf with many common parts (bolts (or as they call them screws)nuts, and washers) but looking for a place to buy them in bulk and get the proper coatings. Maybe plain ol zinc is good enough. Just like putting in new parts rather than corroded or filthy parts.

Yeah, I know, I need help.

I probably have some 8mm but not enough to do 2 CV's.
Another place to get them is http://www.metricmcc.com
Item is RIB, size is S8 or S10, material is ZP (black zinc plating)
box of 100 is $12.65 + ship for 8mm, $21.95 for S10
Buy in bulk and sell the remaining.
