Need engine fan parts for a Renault in Japan

Hi Porsche and Renault fans!?

My Japanese father in law is a big car guy and has a renault 4 that he uses for his business (bicycle shop). He needs two fans for the radiator.

I'm sorry I am not so familiar with these cars as they are probably even more obscure in USA then in Japan...but I'm hoping somebeody can help point me in the right direction to the parts. He really loves his Renault (not as much as his Lotus Super 7 though) and wants to keep it on the road.

I am attaching pictures to help identify the parts.

Type: VF1-210B00
Numero: 00931943

Car No. VF1210b0000934943

Need 2 fans

I would bet those are readily available in France, or Europe. We have some members there...... maybe they will speak up?

there have to be some numbers on the parts themself

I believe the pic of the plate is the vin and model number. Maybe a dealer could start with that.

These vans are very common in Europe.

Looking for parts in an unsupported environment - I feel for you, and your father-in-law...I have owned a handful of different Renaults in my past, so BTDT.

OK, high praise on Clementine's Renault 4 Garage forum for UK's Whitehouse Renault, George Thompson.

http://www.renault4.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=47

"George Thomson is exceptionally knowledgeable and knows Renault 4's inside out. I've recently completed restoring my 1984 R4 to virtually as new and Whitehouse supplied all the parts, gave excellent discounts and back-ordered obscure bits and pieces from France."

'Hope Stijn's lead will produce for you.

Good luck...what a PITA, eh?...whew!

I found Kenlowe fans in England as a vendor of many aftermarket and oem fans. They had a suitable replacement.
Very helpful and knowledgeable sales staff (and polite!)

Thanks again for all your help.
