I have the shorter, GS torque arm and a center stand. Both wheels touch the ground though.

One can just weld on an extension to make bigger feet.

too tall

Preps and BCR's don't come with a centerstand for 2 reasons...the bikes are more "sporty" and the standard centerstands are useless due to the suspension and short arm....these bikes do, however, have longer kickstands!

Oscar and I are working up a billet arm I want to offer in long, short, and in-between lengths...

RD, I have a billet arm that I have never used. It's short, even shorter than the GS length, it's 350mm center-to-center. I never used it on the BCR because it raises the ground clearance another 3/8 inch ( I'm told ) and I'm just about on my toes as it is. I'm be happy to lend it to you for measuring, weighing or ogling if you have a need for it.

You can still use the center stand, just put a piece of plywood under the center stand. For us guys with minimal shop space and low tech tools, the center stand sure is nice when changing tires, oil, etc. And it doesn't scrape the ground in curves nearly as often with the short arm installed.

You know, riding solo will quicken up the steering quite a bit, too...

I have a shorter paraarm and the rear Ohlins extended for all it is worth and still use the pactical centerstand.Motorcycles without centerstands are useless unless you are a racer and your team in the paddock with stands are waiting for you...;-)
Just cut the centerstand and machine two pieces mine are 30mm long + extensions that go into the centerstand tubes and weld them and voila you have a practical centerstand that works!
Wish the 24 liter tank extension wuld be that easy as also the 1200cc engine swap...;-) since BMW doesn't offer those improvement stock and right from the factory...
Chris
PS:Rapid dogs,barbacks are real sporty...;-)

Yes, it makes the brake pedal look bad also. A gorgeous piece of metal for sure.
Is the design stamped by the rear mount representative of an S wheel, or some other TM?
