Hi,

According to 101 Performance Project 78 for sunroof repair, number 3B, The plastic guide pieces may be bent due to opening sunroof with the headliner pushed back toward the rear of the car. That what happen to my interior panel. It is no longer sliding back. I wonder where I could get the replacement for this plastic pieces? I can not find it in the pelican part anywhere.

Thanks for your kind assistance.

Cheers

Manual e30 repair

hello to all!

i have an e30 and it was missing the sunroof crank,
so i went out and bought the parts i was missing, but after putting the crank it,
it didn't work, and i realized that my sunroof transmission is missing the sprocket part that goes through the crank that will turns the gears.

my question is can i get that piece and put it in, or would you recommend replacing the whole sunroof gearbox??

BMW Roundel Project 78: Sunroof Repair

Sunroofs, by historical definition are opaque and slide open to allow sunshine and fresh air into the passenger compartment. Today, most factory sliding sunroof options feature a glass panel and are sometimes marketed as moonroofs, a term introduced in 1973 by John Atkinson, a marketing manager at Ford for the Lincoln Continental Mark IV. For the first year, Ford sent out its Mark IVs to American Sunroof Company for offline installation.
