1973.5 911T Coupe CIS "Original Owner"

FOR SALE!!!

Completely stock CIS 1973.5 coupe in Factory Sepia Brown with tan interior. This car is totally complete and is numbers matching throughout.

Original paint except - Left rear quarter panel, rear bumper guards and rear apron were resprayed in Laquer about 20 years ago after it rolled out of the driveway and bumped into a neighbors car. The left rear panel was minimally damaged, but it did put a small crease in the panel and needed to be repainted. It was not replaced though. The front right quarter panel was also resprayed some time ago after an idiot technician put a scratch on the top of the panel when fixing the headlight bucket. All other panels are orginal paint! ORIGINAL INTERIOR - (Headliner, dashboard, door panels, rear seat, carpet). Driver and passenger seats were reupholstered some years ago. It has a few minor door dings, but overall the body and paint on this car is superb. Only minimal surface rust in a couple of areas (near rear running light - left side. The front "horseshoe" underneath the front of the car has some rust. The car has been garaged it's entire life in Torrance, CA. The car has run on Synthetic Mobil 1 since '86 after complete engine rebuild by 911 Enterprise - Dusty Rhodes in Dallas, TX. Engine had a few upgrades during rebuild including Carrera Valve Covers, Carrera chain tensioner upgrade & late model oil pump. Absolutely 100% a California Car. The car was purchased from Bob Smith in Hollywood, CA in '73 (FYI - car still has the original license plate frame from Bob Smith Hollywood). Car was purchased with optional upgrades that are present on the sticker - S Package gauges, fuchs alloy wheels, anti-sway bar, wheel well trim. Still have the original sticker and manual. Paint and body are in extremely good condition for a car this old. The car drives and handles as good now as the day it was purchased. Extremely strong and reliable car. Turn signals were upgraded to European style 20 years ago, but other than that, this car looks the same today as it did in '73. Original "never installed" spare tire still sits under the hood next to the original tool kit and jack. Trunk carpet is original too. The radio has been upgraded to an Eclipse, but I still have the original Blaupunkt. Car just received a complete oil change (Mobil 1 again). New Michelin Pilot Tires were installed about 6 months ago and have many miles of rubber left. As you know, it is becoming more and more difficult to find original unmolested early 911's, and in my opinion this is one of the finest examples around.

Odometer doesn't work. The car is driven 10 miles to work every day, so it keeps it running strong, but doesn't put a lot of miles on the engine.

Engine Rebuild History: My dad broke a rocker arm at 145,000 miles, and decided to rebuild the whole engine at that time. When they split the case, the lower end was still like brand new. Absolutley no wear on the lower end bearings etc. He replaced the oil pump with an upgraded later model pump. A new original oil pump was no longer available.

In summary: All moving parts were replaced except for the camshafts and the crankshaft. Valves, valve springs, pistons, cylinders, etc. all brand new porsche. He has every last record of the rebuild. He called it a "giant shopping list".

Mileage: The car has around 100K miles since rebuild in '86.

FYI - Listing this car as original owner... However technically it's not. I purchased the car from my dad a couple years ago. He still lives 2 miles from me, and helps me with anything that comes up.
