Shawn,
I appreciate your offer but I dont think it was "reasonable" as the ad states. Im already taking a loss on the RSR project. Just trying to recoupe some of my money back. Plus at 800 I think its a good price. Gus |

Gus:
The above pictures looks like before the rebuild with some things missing. What does the engine look like after the rebuild? Pictures, please. What's included? Flywheel? Clutch? Alternator pulley? Is there a pop-off valve? Is there a WUR? Since it was re-ringed, you must know the type of P/C's. What P/C's are in there? Mahle or KS? What's the engine number? 930/?? Many Thanks

Gus
I talked to yesterday on the phone, I am interested but I am requesting information on the rebuild also, if you could please email me the information I requested. Gunter brought up the same questions I had for you..and for an engine that has been sitting for a year after the rebuild I would like to know the answers.... Thanks

Why can't you post some real details with up-to-date pictures about the engine? When the term "Rebuild" is used, it shouldn't be too hard to be straight forward and list specifics. My questions are legitimate and it's only fair to be candid; you would generate more interest by listing details that any buyer would want to know. So, how about some answers to the above?

Hey Gus
Nathan here. I am in CA where we have a pomona porsche swapmeet. If you have one there you should try to sell your project there. Its so hard to sell here. It also seems that the better the deal you are selling, the more slack you catch.Maybe if you ask more, you will sell it all right away. Wierd Goodluck Nathan

I am no longer interested. Nathan if Gus was really interested in selling his parts he would answer the valid questions ...period...
Sorry but the so called "slack" you say he's getting, is really questions that are vaild and not being answered... Good luck with the sale

I do understand that Frank. I would also agree if the price of the motor was 6000 and trylu reflected a thorough rebuild. But consider the price as the value in parts alone and buy it for that reason. If it is truly rebuilt then BONUS. Anyway, congrats on the sale of the Roller, at least thats some money back.
Nathan
