Cool Lower engine temps 20 degs for $20.....

That got your attention, didn't it ! If you have noticed that your oil temps are creeping up and you haven't changed your fuel filter lately, do so. The fuel filter on my SC had not been changed for about 18 months and oil temps had been running hotter this summer than last summer (210 vs. 190). A couple of days ago I noticed a gas smell and tracked the leak down to the bottom connector on the fuel filter. Hmmm, he said, high pressure fuel leak and higher engine temps! Maybe the filter has gotten partially clogged and the engine is running lean? Maybe the clogged filter is causing the high pressure fuel leak? So off to the parts store, buy new filter and install. No leaks, and in urban traffic with the a/c on the oil temps now are back at the 190 mark.
20 degrees for $20.00 !

Cool Oil Temps.......

Or, you could put the Cool Collar on your neck and then YOU would be "cool"

Good to know. I'll look into it with my next oil change/valve adjustment.

Thanks.

When I changed my 4 year old fuel filter out I had to lean out the mixture by almost half a turn to get it to run where it used to.
