Yo, it's time,...

TO SELL MY CAR!!! I'm excited but not?!?! Well, I created an ad in the the classifieds here. It's really ugly outside so I didn't get any good revealing photos yet but I just thought I would start anyway. If you interested email me or if you know anyone that might be interested or is looking,... can you let them know? Thanks!!! I only want the serious. Email me for more info. I am going to create an AD over at autotrader.com as soon as I get some nice photos. Anyway,... thanks for your help guyz!!!

My uncle might be interested. He has been talking about getting a 944 for some time... and he lives in CT (not too far).

How much are you asking? Could you send me whatever pictures you have?

I relly don't have any pictures of her right now. I kind of like deleted them a while ago, but as soon as it clears up outside I'm gonna use my good camera and take some nice detailed shots of the car. I want to sell her for $7000 - $8000 due to the condition she is in. She doesn't really need any work. I don't know if that is in his range but I'll send photos ASAP.

Very nice... I will call my uncle tonight to tell him about it. It might be a little pricey, considering he was looking at 951s for $8000, but he might be inpressed by the mileage. I'll let you know...

It is pricey but not to many 944's can touch this cars condition. 951's are right around the price range but what kinda of condition though? What is your uncle looking for a 944? LOTS of power or a decently powered car in great condition that he can just jump into and drive without having to worry about major breakage. You know what I mean. That is going to be the one downfall of my selling the car. I want looks along with the EXTREME power but I REALLY dont think I can afford both I'm having a hard time trying to decide which one I want. My friend paid about the same for his 951 but there are alot of things that he needs to do to the car. He needs to rebuild the power steering rack, He has an exhaust leak, and the are some other miscellaneous things that he really needs to take care of. My car,... he loves it.

Nice looking 944 - good luck with the sale.

Ive always felt that with these cars you can pay now, or pay later. Personally Id rather pay up front for a decent car.

Thanks My dash is ABSOLUTLY CRACK FREE!!! I'm telling you guyz this car rocks. That sad thing is that my next car will probably not be in such good condition That is the one major reason I dont want to sell her. I want the power through.

Overkill,

I didnt even notice you are over in NJ - my 951 will be for sale shortly (within a week or two - gotta snap some pics). Im just west of Philadelphia if your interested in stopping by to take a look at it once you begin your search for a 951. Best 100,000 mile example you'll see.

I know but, I won't let myself keep it!?!?!? I am a HUGE fan of turbo charging. My first car was turbo charged and the fact that this car is not,... IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY!!! I want to find her a good home with someone like Juvat, SoCal, anyone content with thier car because,... they are so content with their cars!!! Me? I have to have the BIGGEST, THE BADDEST, thats why I call myself "overKILL". It's an ILLNESS!!! Keep me updated CJFusco, I should be getting offers soon from the net. I would love to sell her to a p-car lover.

Selling for two reasons:

1.) Going to be buying a house soon.

2.) Looking for a car I can track without feeling guilty. I cant afford TWO of these cars, and my current 951 is far too nice to be used in such a brutish manner.

Looks like no pics tonight - got home late from work and the snow is picking up - damn if Ill bring it out after waxing it only a few days ago.... argh.

Well I would also love a 951, but I force myself to be happy with what I have because... well, an apartment in boston and all the collaborative bills don't exacly HELP my cash flow! And besides, for me it's not that hard to FORCE myself into being happy with a 944. All my friends are sooooo envious, and I keep telling them to just take the plunge and get one. They don't believe that running costs can be really low as long as you take the right preventitive measures, it can cost no more to own than a Honda Civic. As long as you keep it on the road, that is...

"I would love to sell her to a p-car lover."

Actually, my uncle isn't a Porschephile at all! He is a HUGE fan f sports cars and motor racing, but his one true love is Ferraris. If you remember from way back when after the Rennsport Reunion, there was a photo of my uncle hovering around the only Ferrari in the lot. (If you don't remember, here's the link: Pics from PORSCHE RENNSPORT REUNION at LIMEROCK!!! ... I'm still impressed by that event) He actually thought it was kinda silly that I had a thing for Porsches, although that may stem from my early love of the 928. Well, he always did like the vintage and race Porsches, but kinda considered the new ones (80s-on) to be status cars...

...well, all that changed the day, not too long after I got my 944, that he drove it. He was thrilled with it, I think I remember him saying he never drove a car that had such tight steering. He was even more amazed at the mileage... and if he was amazed by that, he was ASTOUNDED when he heard how much I bought it for. At first he thought i said THIRTEEN thousand. No, uncle Curt, THREE thousand.

A couple months later, I was over his house for christmas, and in with all his books on Ferraris, Maseratis, and Automobile Quarterlys was Peter Morgan's ORIGINAL PORSCHE 924/944/968.

We've hooked another one, fellas.
