Do we have any members that live in Florida?

As topic states. We moved down here two years ago from CT. Was wondering if we have any Florida members?

Maybe we can get a GTG organized?

Hello Steve, thanks for posting. I see you have a Corrado G60, how long have you had it? How do you like it?

I have a 1991 G60 and a 1993 Corrado SLC with 35,000 miles on it. Along with a couple other cars.

Any ideas for a place we can have the GTG at?

wow a 93 with 35k that's amazing. how and why can it be!
How many has your 91 have. mine 150K. Right now it sits in my garage with a car cover on it. It's all fine, but I figure it's rare enough to take better care of than my other cars. Crazy I know. I never see any on the road. ever!
Anyways, we need to GTG. What exit are you off of I-4? I'm exit52 I think.

That 93 is really a amazing car. It's pristine in every way. If we have the GTG in Lakeland, I'll show you the car.

I have 110k on the G60 and it has seen better days. It's the same here as well, I have seen one or two Corrado's since we've been down here.

Hmmm, off I-4, I think 45b? Does that make sense? Or maybe that is Polk Parkway? Sorry, I'm still getting to know the area. I haven't spent much time outside of Lakeland as you can tell.

All right, let's try for a GTG. I'm usually off weekends. but before I travel with the 911 I need to get off my butt and replace a rear wheel bearing. It howls pretty bad. Maybe if we wait a few more weeks maybe more will read this thread and we get more. If not I'll still want to see the 93 C anyways.
and hello unclenick.
I see that they have a breakfast GTG but the next one is too far away. I missed the one last month.

well after reading up on rear bearing R&R it seems like I might take it to a pro. I don't feel like spending +$250 for a bearing R&R kit. I know it will cost me either way. I just need to get off my lazy a$$ and get 'er done. I just spent 250 bucks at Pelican for new magnicors and basic tune up stuff, plugs, filters valve cover gaskets and a new valve adj. tool. I might do that this summer vacation in July!
If I can at least get the bearing done soon we can shoot for a GTG anywhere. The Skyway looks like a possibility. If we get a time and day set we can post on the other forums to let anyone elso know.

I am on the East coast of Florida just a tad North of West Palm Beach.

My 911 Summers in North Carolina and Winters in Florida so I am will to go to a GTG in the winter, say, October through May.

I do not have A/C in the Targa so instead of installing it I take it up to my house in NC for the summer. Better roads and cooler temps. Then bring it back down for the Chamber of Commerce winters in Florida.

I am looking for an excuse to go to Tampa so count me in on a Tampa meet in the fall if you want.

does anyone have a preference if it's a Saturday or Sunday?
I prefer either. As for a date I'd like to wait until those darned lovebugs are gone!!! Maybe like Sat. June 10th??? Hopefully I'll be getting my wheel bearing done this week.

Greetings, First post on this board. There is a thread on rennlist in the 944 turbo forum about a Central FL get together. I believe they're going to do it next weekend. Unfortunatly I'm working

They owe me a Saturday off at work (where I am now, Shhhhhhh...) So I'm up for a Saturday or Sunday. Let me know so I can request the day off.

Anybody out there in Northeast Florida, (Jacksonville)? I'm fairly new to Porsche and Pelican, but really have learned a lot from the Forums.
