South Florida Key Largo run, Dec. 5th

We skipped this fantastic drive last year and many made it known
they wanted it to come back, so .........

The 4th annual Key Largo Run to the Mariott Florida Bay for
Saturday, December 5, 2009 is officially on.

The schedule is to arrive there at 10am to 10:30am
as a complete group with bayfront parking.

The Marriott will have a breakfast Buffet waiting for us. It is $15.00+
tax/gratuity per person and and includes the following:
-- Omelet and Waffle Station
-- Bacon and Sausage
-- Scrambled Eggs
-- Breakfast Potatoes
-- French Toast or Pancakes
-- Breakfast Quesadilla
-- Vegetable Quiche
-- Breads, Muffins, Bagels, and Danish's
-- Fresh Fruit
-- Cereals
-- Assorted Milks
-- Cottage Cheese and assorted Yogurts
-- Coffee and Juices included

There is plenty of parking by the waterfront for 30 to 50 cars.
If you have to many Pina Coladas after brunch, they have offered a special
room rate of 169.00 per nite for Rennlisters (normally $200.00)
if anyone is interested, PM me and I will get you the hotel contact.

There will be 2 meeting points.
The plan is to leave Fort Lauderdale at 7:15am and meet the Miami crew 8:00am.

The Meeting points are:
Fort Lauderdale: Mobil gas station at I-595 and Flamingo Rd. NE side.
Miami: Snapper Creek service plaza on the Turnpike.

If anyone as a group is coming from from Palm Beach.
We may need to add a 3rd meeting point for the the Palm Beach crew.
In 2007 we had about 30-35 cars and about 35 to 40 people total.

So we need to know who will be joining us with a firm commitment.

UPDATE!!
The Restaurant Manager at the Marriott asked for an update on our group.

We now have a deadline of NOV. 30 to give him the EXACT number of cars and guests. After this date, he can not accept any more reservations for a group this size. So please keep this in mind if anyone is thinking about joining us on the run.

The Meeting points are:

Fort Lauderdale:
Mobil gas station at I-595 and Flamingo Rd. NE side.
Meet at 7:00am, depart for Snapper creek at 7:15am to meet the Miami crew.

Miami:
Snapper Creek service plaza on the Turnpike.
(last service plaza on the turnpike southbound)
Meet at 8:00am with the Fort Lauderdale crew, then depart at 8:15am
for Key Largo.

I'll conduct a brief drivers meeting as to the route we will take
to Key largo.

We have advised the Marriott to expect us as a group between 9:45am to 10am.

With that said, I look forward to a fun and safe drive and seeing all of you
on Saturday.

How many did you get to go? Club Racing numbers aren't where we are use to them...
