The time is here. Registration opens 15 August at noon.
www.clubregistration.net LSR will be hosting a 3-day Performance Driving School Weekend on October 10-12, 2008. Friday will consist of classes held at Porsche of North Houston. On Saturday, you will put your classroom lessons into motion at the Car Control Clinic held at Gulf Greyhound Park. We will have many individual driving exercises set up and local instructors will provide a one-on-one learning environment. Finally, Sunday will consist of a Practice Autocross at Gulf Greyhound Park. This will complete the building block process of your car handling abilities and provide a safe environment for you to reinforce your skills. These skills will be useful for daily driving, AX and DE. Friday Classes are MANDATORY for students. Registration opens at 12pm (noon) on 15 August 2008 for PCA members. We will accept 50 individual student entrants, and priority will be given to LSR members and their families. Non-member student registration opens 12pm 15 Sept. Registration will close at midnight Sept 30. Registration Fee is $50 per Student Driver. Each participant will receive dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday, as well as a commemorative t-shirt. You must provide your own lunch on Sunday. We also need 25 instructors and 25 volunteers. All will receive, in addition to the above, free practice autocross entry on Sunday. Please select either volunteer or instructor during registration. You can register anytime. Cancellation prior to midnight 25 Sept will receive full refund. No refund for canceling after 25 Sept. Your vehicle will have to pass a Technical Inspection on Saturday and Sunday. A Snell 2000 or newer helmet will be required for the Practice Autocross on Sunday. A limited number of loaner helmets will be available. On 1 October, all participants will receive a full curriculum, special instructions and a guide for what to expect via email. If you have questions or need additional information, please contact Matthew Kucharski at kucharskimb@yahoo.com. Register at www.clubregistration.net. If you are new, create an account. After logging in, you can select LSR PCA from the drop down menu. Online payment is required via Paypal.

Here are more comprehensive registration instructions.
1. Create account at www.clubregistration.net 2. Login 3. Go to My Profile at top and fill in pertinent information. 4. Go to Dashboard at the top and select Event Sign up or select blue Event Sign Up link on right side of screen. 5. From drop down menu, select LSR PCA from Club Column 6. Enter info. 7. Select appropriate box for Student, Instructor, General Volunteer. 8. Select T-shirt size 9. Make sure to hit Register or Save whenever making updates. I'm still in need of instructors and volunteers. Any help would be great. Everyone will receive a T-shirt, lunch on Saturday and free Practice AX on Sunday. We might have to cancel... As of now, it is full, unless you want to volunteer and then get the free perks on Sunday.

Just to make sure...If I am just volunteering I don't have to be at the meeting friday night? The drive isn't a problem.
