violent shake on hard acceleration
 

Hello all,
new to the forum. recently picked up a 2013 C30 automatic with 70K on the clock.
I'm feeling a shudder under acceleration and it gets violent with the gas pedal down hard when merging onto the freeway. the steering wheel shakes like you'd have a warped disc when braking. Saw a previous post that indicated motor mount problems. Does this sound like the same problem?

This novice 2012 R Design T5 operator will take a shot at this.

Check your lug nuts for proper torque, Check the brake rotors with a fingernail for grooves vs preferred smooth.
Check the cv axles, particularly if you've been hearing a click sound in slow turns.
Check those motor mounts.

I'm ran into cv axle problems once lowered on Silver's Coilovers. Have not yet installed my slotted rotors or the ALG Performance part that alleviates cv joint damage on the C30/Focus.
