Left rear side marker light

My wife’s 2011 Volvo C70 convertible failed state inspection today. The reason was the dead left rear side marker light, which looks to fit within the larger rear corner assembly. The mechanic told her it was a $400.00 part since the entire corner light assembly (brakes, backup, parking, etc) had to be replaced. !!!!! Any way I can replace the probably single led bulb myself? Part number? I would appreciate advice.
