1992 Passat can't find fuel injector lines
I'm working on a 92 Passat wagon. It has the 2 liter. I'm starting to think it's the only one in the U.S. I just replaced all the belts. I had to move the fuel distributor out of the way to do it. Shortly afterwards it started leaking fuel out of the nylon sections of fuel line that run from the fuel distributor to the fuel injectors. I'm hoping that someone here can point me to the stuff I need. I'm figuring on using the steel ends of my lines and replacing the nylon parts. I do not remember how I stumbled upon this site, only that it was Porsche 911 related and someone was facing an issue much like mine with a 911. The rest is blackness and fruitless searches. And upload photos? Man...This is nice. Hope these pictures are any good. Does that line seem swollen somehow? Looks really constricted. I tried submerging it in boiling water and jamming it on to the barb, no luck. It's hard to blow through as well. Maybe that's how it is? I don't know... Please help! Thank you!

![]() ![]() These Polyamide lines were used throughout the German car industry back then when vehicles were equipped with Bosch CIS. The hard Fittings are unique to your Passat, but the Polyamide Tube I have in stock and can make replacement lines for you given your original fittings and dimensions/specs. I do this often for Porsche 911's with early CIS. email me and I will try to help. Len dot Cummings at verizon dot net ![]() |
