VW Beetle 2002 Rear Foglight Problem
 

I have a 2002 Beetle petrol engine. The rear foglight has stopped working and the tell-tail light on the instrument cluster also stopped working.

I removed the switch. I put a 12v supply to the pin labeled NSL and the foglight came on and so did the tell-tail, there I assume bulb is fine and so is the instrument cluster light. I assumed it was the switch. I have bought two second hand ones and the problem remains the same each time.
