2001 Jetta No AC
I'm trying to fix my moms Jetta.
The Compressor for the AC is not engaging. I have checked the freon with gauges and that seems ok. When checking the clutch DC voltage I remember getting about 8vdc not 12V with no load. Both of the fans have gone out and have been replaced in the past. The AC fan attached to the radiator had melted and I replaced it first, some time back. The other radiator fan was also replaced when it started making noise. Any ideas? Do you think the Aux Fan Control Module is bad? Thanks Steve |
