2001 Allroad here. Came to this section looking for someone who had done the timing belt swap. Pretty low key over here!

I just picked up an 01 S4 that has coolant leak problems around the drivers side turbol I haven't had time to dig into it yet.
Crackheads stole the cats & O2 sensors while it was parked (With a sawzall).
I'm trying to determine if I replace the cats to stock for about $500, or maybee eliminating the cats & O2s & getting a performance chip to clear the engine codes. I was told this would work.
Gotta learn another new car...........big fun!!

In addition to my 1984 828s I've got a 1999 A8 quattro and a 1991 V8 Quattro. Not too much goes on here. Maybe we can get it started.

2003 A6 3.0 Avant here...wifey's car. Definitely not my favorite vehicle to work on. Relatively trouble free for 65,000 miles and then had to replace the neutral safety switch...extremely miserable job. Then the passenger side pre cat O2 sensor went out...made the neutral safety switch seem like a walk in the park. This summer is the timing belt...I'm very excited about doing this.

I usually just come to Pelican concerning my 911sc, but I have just recently purchased a 2001 Audi A8L RS. Still trying to find a decent review or mention of exactly what the RS/Rally sport means for the A8L, but no luck thus far. Any help would be appreciated.

I have only owned Audis until I bought the p-car last summer as a project. I currently have a 92 100 sedan and a 99 A6 Avant Quattro. I have avoided the transverse motor models (like the A3) out of maintenance/accessibility concerns. I've got a cables and VAG-COM if any Portland-area Pelicanites get stuck.

Yeah, I'll say. This site is gets the most traffic & predominantly occupied by the 911 owners. In addition to my early 911 I have an A6 as my daily driver. I recently added two more Audis to the stable...the first being a modded and chipped 1995 UrS6 sedan and the second addition is a bone stock but chipped 1995.5 UrS6 Avant. Both are fun cars and the build quality is excellent on those early S6's.
