Audi 200 Turbo
I am wondering if anyone knows how to remove the steering wheel on a 89 200 Turbo?

Did you check behind the wheel. There are usually holes for the air bag bolts . Get the air bag out then the 1 steering wheel nut...

Thank you for your reply, but I don't think my car has airbags. I know that there is no indication of airbags anywhere. I have looked behind the wheel for something, but I have found nothing......very confused by the whole thing. I can get the column cover off and that's as far as I get....

You pull on the horn cover pad and it will pop off. You might have to pull pretty hard. Do it at each corner of each spoke and then you'll get access. I believe that it was 1990 that the 200 got airbags. Is it a quattro? Just curious.
