Have a broken sunroof. Part is no longer available. Is there another sunroof from another Vw model that is compatible?

Hi , i'm also a Corrado owner , you can put a sunroof from a 1990-1993 Passat or a glass sunroof from a 1994-1996 Passat
on one of my previous Corrado , i put a 1995 glass sunroof . ( this model is better ) The corrado that i still own , have no sunroof , so no problem |

This might sound like a stupid question,but is that clear glass?

Hi
The Glass is tinted , they have sunshade. The frames from the Passat and the Corrado are identical . With the newer models having a bit more robust construction. The curve of the Golf or the Jetta glass from side to side is slightly more pronounced (higher in the middle). The mounting screws for the Jetta/Passat frames are a little bit longer along the front of the frame. . The rubber seal on the glass is removable/replaceable but it's a real PITA. If you have a choice select a glass roof with the rubber seal in the best shape. i hope that will help you If need more info , i will be happy to help |
