Power Door Locks, Glove Box issues and Steering Wheel Shroud on '01 VW Cabrio

Hi I recently bought an 'o1 Cabrio and have a few bugs. 1st: Power door locks don't work, either with the Key Fob, or the buttons on the door. On the other hand, when I put the key in the door lock, I can hear the vacuum pump activating and sometimes the passenger side lock will unlock as well (not always). Any ideas from anyone? Also, the cruise control doesn't work. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
On another note, the latch mechanism on the glove box broke and now I can't open the glove box I understand that you have to replace the entire glove box...2 questions: Does anyone have a glove box they'd like to sell and more importantly, does anyone have instructions on how to do this?
Finally, the shroud around the steering column has also broken and needs to be replaced. Anyone have parts for this that I can buy?
