2001 TT Quattro engine fault codes
 

I have a 2001 Audi TT Quattro with two engine fault codes; 0441 and 1126. Doing a little research, I have not found any difinitative answer. There is a valve that could be stuck or it could be the turbo diverter valve...

The engine does not seem to be down on power but it does hunt at idle. It runs at 800-900 rpm then drops to 500 then surges to 1000 then back to 800-900. It does this about every 5-10 seconds, at idle. I am assuming it is a vacuum issue but I cannot find a leak... I will continue to search. I have had an engine fault code of 1136, which is a vacuum leak but I did find that one and fixed it.

The engine has over 220,000 miles on the clock so I am not surprised if the hoses are shot. But does anyone have an idea what is going on, other than a vacuum leak?
