Question VW Oil Alert Issue

Hello! I want to ask about a weird situation I've been experiencing. I have an 05 VW New Beetle 1.8L Turbo with Manual Transmission.

This used to happen mostly in the very warm summer but it is beginning to extend to more days. Whenever I break, go downhill, slow down in any way, my oil light comes on, beeps three times. Then when I go again or speed back up, it goes off. Then it comes back on. This is very annoying when driving in town.

So I guess my question would be, is there a sensor in there that might be messed up somehow? Obviously, I have had my oil changed many a-time and even the week after the new oil is in, it goes off. The dipstick shows that it isn't draining or leaking, telling me that the oil isn't low. The people I've gone to over the last couple of years that have done oil changes or inspections don't really know what to tell me.

Worst case, how could I go about shutting the beeping part off? It is so very irritating. Thanks for any input!!!

Did you connect your car to a scanner to see what codes come up?

Maybe this post will help you.. it seems the coolant sensor circuit ties in with the oil system somehow. Maybe the coolant temp sensor is bad, or the oil level sensor is bad.
