Convertible Headliner Adhesive

Greetings. Finally repairing my headliner for a 1997 328iC. The rear bow tension springs seem weak, which probably led to the headliner pulling off of the plastic C-pillar covers (also broken). So I'll replace the springs and the plastic pillar covers.

What adhesive should I use to glue the headliner to the covers? Want something that strong that won't soak through the liner material.

It'll be nice to drive with windows down again. Currently I must either have the top up and AC on, or top down entirely. With windows down the corners of my headliner flops in the breeze like an inside-out mullet.
