did the car ever run correctly before it sat? cam timing just does not change. no expert but i have had a tensioner fail. my 74 started to run awful one night, i limped home. The next day it ran great. i just chalked it up to a washed out cylinder, fouled plug or damp wires , Then bam cylinder 4 and 5, bent valves , tensioner let go . just some food for thought seeing as your tensioners sat static for quite a few years .

also i made the mistake when i put my 76 row turbo back together . i put the new distributor wires on the cap to run cw like a normal 911. 75-77 turbos run ccw the car still ran but it ran awful.
