ok, i will check this, although when i dropped the x-member a while ago, i did check the u-joints then. when i twisted the wheel, yes, the other wheel was on the ground.
i am finding that the car "wanders" a lot, especially on uneven surfaces. i intend to replace all bushings, and then get an alignment, after finding if its steering/ joints etc.
i even took the sway bar bushings off, and tried polyureathene ones that i made at work.
