I'm not thinking of doing a conversion, that is beyond my skill level and, as Joe wisely points out, probably my wallet as well....

But, in my hunt for a really nice 4-cylinder car, I have come across a couple of nice, factory 914-6s with attractive upgrades. I feel very comfortable in my knowledge of the quirks and characteristics of the 4-banger cars, but a lot less well informed about the 914-6.

So, I'm hoping that some 914-6 owners will share their experiences to help give me a better sense of what it's like to drive and maintain one of these cars.
