well, I had some reasoning behind the switches:
GTI - bought it after my moto accident as I couldn't drive the stick in my Subie wagon.
A3 - bought if after my knee healed and I was ingrained on driving stick and wanted to keep practice for my 911 at the track.
WRX - a little harder to rationalize. I found the seats in the A3 to be a little narrow through the shoulders so it wasn't as comfortable as I'd hope. Plus I wanted AWD and an interior I didn't have to worry as much about.
JSW - wanted more room to carry gear as I'm constantly gigging so I leave my stuff in the back. Also wanted an auto so the g/f could drive the car.
But I'll cop to the junkie thing too...we'll see how long the JSW lasts
