Well, it looks like I won't get her back on the road till tomorrow (hopefully) I was changing the balance shaft belt today and when I was removing the rubber induction hose from the MAF to the throttle body, it ripped almost all the way around and now it doesn't seem to want to start. Catches for a second or 2 but then dies right away. Would this cause the car not to start? Also, does the balance shaft need to be set up at all, like the timing, or can I just put the belt on if the engine has moved with it off?
Thanks
