930 -054 wur

I opened up the WUR and the bottom red gasket has a slight cut in it near the warm pressure adjustment Allen head screw. Does any one know if this can cause the boost pressure not to hold?
After putting everything back together and running a Mity VAC/Pressure pump on the boost port, it will no longer hold the boost pressure and seems like the air is leaking out the vent port and the bottom.

Thanks in Advance.

Contact Rarlyl8 (Brian Bodart) for info or rebuild, he’s a good resource and contributor here.

I would not suspect that this would cause boost pressure to fall off. It sounds like you may have a problem with your wastegate too or a leak from the compressor side of the turbocharger and possibly somewhere going up to your throttle body.

It should not stop your turbo getting up to boost. But it will not hold the boost pressure in the WUR to adjust your fuel - as your MightyVac test shows.
If in fact you are not registering any boost on your boost gauge, that is another issue.
The torn diaphragm will also constitute an air leak in your system.

Thank you everyone.
I currently have 2 WUR my car is running fine with the -112 WUR and it was running good with the -054 that i opened up.
The -054 when doing the warm pressure test for boost to see it go lean with the mity vac the WUR is not holding the pressure. ( so my AFR does not go rich.)
The in the WUR there is a circle plate with the Warm pressure adjustment screw and it holds the red gasket. The red gasket is what has a rip in it. I believe that is why the boost pressure is not holding in the WUR.
I am now in search of the red gasket but it seems like you cannot source it.
The only way to get it to send it off to get it rebuilt.
If any of you know where I can get that red gasket I would really appreciate it.

Thank you
