Seems like Paul loves his car but sometimes life gets in the way and other things takes priorities. I really hope he keeps it and gets it done in due time. If he decides to move on, he certainly has made some great memories with it. Good luck my friend, whichever way you go.

Cancelled....sorry!
After heartfelt deliberations with Paul, the intended recipient of this effort, we have decided to cancel this GoFundMe. It hasn't gained sufficient steam to where the monies would come close to meeting the needs as defined in the campaign.
Unfortunately, this is clearly a sign of the unsettling times we're all experiencing. I have no doubt that - given a virus free world and solid economic forecast - that collectively we would have easily taken care of Paul with the generosity that so many of you have shown. Thanks to all who have donated to-date. I have cancelled this program as of this morning. Your donations will be refunded within 3 to 7 business days, per GoFundMe policies. I have already received confirmation emails that each person who has donated has been refunded (within 3-7 days). Thanks again. Here's hoping you're all safe and well. Keep a nice socially distanced zone about you and if people get too close, then just spool up the turbo and leave them behind!

I have not logged onto this forum in quite a while. I have been in contact with Paul, and as soon as they lift this Covid-19 stuff (and when Paul is ready), I am ready to take a long weekend, and travel to Paul's place. It would be cool, that if we could plan a date, and once all the parts are back, spend a weekend getting his car back up and running. I am ready to help out in any way I can..

I have suggested hitting the pause button on any big decisions to all my friends and family. It’s impossible to make any clear headed decisions in the heat of it all. I use different analogies with my track buddies. Don’t lift, steady maintenance throttle through the wreckage then plot a new line. Tom |
