RUF MBC. Value
 

After converting to EBC I have no use for this RUF part. Trouble is, I have no idea what it might be worth if I decide to sell it. Any suggestion on what a realistic price would be?

I saw it a few times in the past being sold for around $400-$500. Old technology but still a nice and rare piece. GLWS.

Reproduction Porsche 935 ones are going for about $1500-2100. To a person wanting to build a "correct" RUF tribute car I suspect they would pay something similar. I paid $600 for a used 935 valve a few years ago and considered it a good price. It would likely take quite a while waiting to get top price.

I'd like to have it if the price is reasonable. PM me with a price and we'll go from there as I've been looking at the repro's lately.

I'll probably aim for something in the 1500-2000$ as indicated above. For anything less I will hang on to it as a nice to have part, at least for now. With the kings ransom RUF usually want for anything they make, it'll probably be the only RUF part I will ever own :D

Bumping this thread again. My plan to put it on eBay, with all their limits for new seller, turned out to be more trouble than anticipated. Any takers at 800ish? It is really just taking up space on my desk at this point. Shipping world wide with tracking is 47usd. Item is located in Norway
