Wiring diagram / fuse overview

Anyone that can help me with either a place to get an wiring diagram for a 930 year 1980 in a read-able quality ?
Would like a fuse overview also, since the one in the car doesn't fit with the the fusebox cover.
The car had a small short circuit behind the oil temp gauge, causing the red/black wire to melt and also a piece of the brown ground wire between two terminals is melted.
I have removed the harness and replaced the R/B wire from one end to the other, and installed the harness as per pictures from before removal. But now I can't get the interior lights to work, I must have missed something
If I check the wiring @ one of the lights, there is connection from black wire to ground. Is that caused by signal through the bulb ?

F4 seems to be wrongly wired, huge square on the up-side, yellow fuse, two small wires on the low-side, where the green/red seems to be misplaced and the black wires should feed the interior light ?

is the problem with F4 because of the large gauge wire?
if you notice those fuse terminals are tied together with a flat metal tab.
the large 6.0(?) wire should be from battery,

porsche wiring let much to be desired. their lack/design of wire protection with fuses was not good.

i removed each wire from the terminal block and cleaned the wire ends along with the screw to make the connection better.
also clean the fuse contacts and fuse holder contacts.
resistance causes heat.

I've found the issue, the black wire for interior light was not seated correctly :)

Now I'm chasing what causes the charge light (don't know the correct naming) to turn on
Need to measure the voltage to figure out what is causing it.
Worked perfectly before the short circuit :(

While you are at it, did you add a fuse behind the ignition switch for I think it is the dash and glove box light? There are a couple other items that are not protected correctly, do a quick search.

Not the best electrical system.

Check your charging voltage at battery - engine running. Should be 14+. If not - alternator or VR faulty.

if the bulb does not light with engine off and key on either the bulb is bad or the wiring is messed up.
either case the alt will not charge the batt.

I think there is a diode under the dash somewhere that is hooked in to the charge circuit?
Been a common fault I think.

Go to prospero's Garage, colorwiringdiagrams.com, you ought to find exactly what you want.

These look pretty cool.....something else to hang on the wall.
11x17 2 page laminated wiring diagram by year model for about $25 shipped.
I think I'll order one.
