There are other reasons.
Try running a ground wire from the wire on the o/boost sw, ie provide another ground for it. Have you pulled the plug behind the airplate? Then there is the relay in the rear compartment. Alan

Since you've tried the obvious culprits...grounding the overboost switch lead, pulling the plug from the airplate, and have confirmed that when jumping the yellow relay the pumps run (and you know for certain that you have good relays at hand that haven't solved the issue), then all I can think of would be the overspend relay under the drivers seat...but if it or it's connections were bad I'm not sure that even jumping the yellow relay would start the pumps.
As for the alarm thing, I have no idea.

As far as I know the alarm kills the pumps that's why I was thinking it could be the problem as I don't have the key mark I was on here when you had tha fire glad to see that it all worked out.

Thanks for the memory...I think...we move on. Personally, I would look elsewhere than the alarm system. Mine has an after market alarm/door locking system and I have no idea if the OEM alarm system would work, even if I had the key to it...which I don't.

I know nothing about the alarm system. But it sounds like the rear relay is not energising. That relay feeds the energising circuits for the front relays. So one thing you could try is to pull the airplate sw, pull the rear relay and jump across terminals 30/87a. Key on. That should energise the front pumps. If they run, that tells us the problem is in the energising circuit for the rear relay (or the relay itself). Alan
