I like the new ideas here, thank you for adding your brainpower to the mix.
I had considered this previously and the seller said it was off of his 1989 930. It looks like the 3.0 intercoolers were visually pretty different with the outlet in a different location — does that sound right? This one would be indistinguishable visually from all of the 3.3 ICs I’ve seen, just not close enough to fit. |

Phony since you have both inner coolers handy can’t you just measure the height of the mounting points to the inlet and outlet ports and see if there’s a difference there then you’ll know if there are a exact replacement.
