Custom Rear Fuel Pump Bracket
I created a custom rear fuel pump bracket for a second fuel pump after removing a stock rear FP bracket. I had to remove the stock FP bracket in order to replace the torn stock rear swaybar brackets with ER swaybar brackets (I also added ER rear shock tower gussets since my car has coil over springs). I did not want to retain a stock rear FP bracket for several reasons. One is that it's a tight fit with both FP and engine/O2/MSD wire bundles and boost pressure line through a stock bracket. Second is that in the future the 2nd FP will be eliminated once I switch over from the current Protomotive MAP based Motronic setup over to a standalone ECU (still waiting for a VEMS package from Raceboy/Peep since this past April).
Here are the photos. Note how tight everything is within the stock FP bracket. Stock Rear FP: Removed Rear FP: Custom FP Bracket with rubber pad (not shown in photo) between bracket and FP: I forgot to take another photo with the engine/gearbox in place. I'll take a photo the next time I have the car up in the air. I'd figure this may help someone if one wants to add/relocate a rear FP.
