Breaking up at boost

I just got my car back from a year long body restoratuion, It breaks up a little under boost. It has new plugs, wires, distr cap . All new injectors and so on. Do you think the computer needs time to figure things ? I am putting on a fuel enrichment gauge to see what going on.

Sounds like your fuel mixture may be off - put a gauge on it and see what you get.

Are you running the stock US version CIS?

Mine seems to crackle a little under boost as the weather gets cold. I think the abundant suply of cool, dense air might overwhelm the fuel supply if you have some mods with the stock fuel setup.

I am no expert ...just following a common sense hunch???

It seems to run better as it warms up so I think it is just blowing out cobwebs. I also found a loose front fuel pump relay cuts out a little this could be the problem.

o.k. just pulled over by state police, asking what the rush was told him I had boost issues he told if he catchs me again i will have legal issues. On the good side boost comes on nice now.

probably just a sticky CIS plate...happends if it sits still for a year. Mechanical stuff, you know ;)

Just FYI, I don't believe the older pre-89 930's had a computer as such... it's all mechanical fuel injection.

You have CIS, thus no computer-controlled injection. 930 never had EFI.

Thing under your seat might be a piece of lambda-regulating circuitry. I gues you have catalyst-equipped car?
