Compressor damage more than likely came the excess weld material - from re-welding the wastegate pipe (which broke off the headers after the WG pipe support broke)

That's on my car with 32 miles. I suspect there was something in the exhaust that let go and hit the hot side tubine wheel. Once it was out of balance, it didn't ake long for it to eat it self against the housing. She's now on her way back to Kevin to be fixed good as new. In the mean time I'm running my old 3LDZ turbo on my motor. It's a step backwards, but keeps me driving the car to put some break in miles on it. Besides, I'm not on the "Boost" yet.
