Hunting Idle speed

Hi all,

Before I start looking for vacuum leaks just wanted to check if anyone has fixed a problem where warm idle speed gently sways about 9K.

The car is 1988 930 with closed loop CIS (stock).

Thanks for your time.

V.

I think your best bet is to verify your CO% at idle and then start looking for vacuum leaks

Thanks WydRyd, I checked and found a leak in the exhaust plumbing. I'm not sure how this happened but I do know the leak/disconnect is after the O2 sensor. Looks like some hard driving caused the disconnect.

I'm sorry id this is not clear I just got the car and have not yet had time to go through the manuals.

Thanks again. I'll get this fixed before I attempt to smog test the car in CA.

V.
