CIS choices
Thanks to everyone that responded to my earlier posts, I now have an uprated intercooler and turbo for my engine rebuild!
I'm trying to decide which CIS system to go with and would appreciate any input that you CIS experts would have. First, this will be for a 3.3 rebuild with SC cams, stock K27 7200, B6 half size IC, euro exhaust, ARP rod and head bolts. My choices are: 1. having my stock head unit checked and refreshed 2. IA modifid head unit 3. fresh euro system with 1mm throttle body bore and after market filter setup. With prices increasing in that order. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Also, I'm in need of a good set of axles/CV joints, AC condenser, and 930 engine lid. Thanks again. |

Your engine is nearly identical to mine.
If you are not doing any head work the stock CIS will work just fine. Spending money to "upgrade" a stock system only makes sense to a point, which is to insure the system is running optimally. I would spend money on an adustable WUR before anything else.
