![]() He's even got the added weight of a passenger with him doing all the filming

I don't know how much power that thing is putting out, but I'd say it'd be nearing the 4 digit mark

that's my buddy Alex. I own his old 4.0 CMW twin turbo. I got to drive his 996 twin. It lays down close to 1k on race gas at high boost. 1.6 bar

Errr... I wouldn't say we're "kissing his @ss", Steven... just admiring the power that car is putting out. I had never seen that CGT video until now, but yes, I agree he's being a total *****weed in that clip

Yes, I know Todd well... he's a top bloke and a wealth of knowledge and information. I have countless e-mails back and forth with Todd and he's never hesitated to help and advise me
![]() When I go up to the US one day, I'll have to pop in and meet the man personally

That is the same guy driving the CGT?!
The only guys kissing his a$$ are the tuners wanting his business. At least he acted civilized in the 996tt video. My guess is he didn't get all his money from a company depending upon his customer service oriented charm.

So, commenting about how fast someone's car is equals to kissing their a$$? Funny logic in that one.
Personally, I think you'd have to be a complete tool to just sit around and rev your car to startle people (if it is indeed the same guy in the CGT thread). Hopeless if you actually tape yourself doing so. Most of us aren't in gradeschool anymore. He did pay for a couple of fast cars though. That said, it's safe to say that the positive comments on this thread are probably meant towards Todd, since really, it's his HP that's being appreciated. Not some dude going ballistic-fast in a straight line (oh, it's so HARD to floor it - I had to take lessons to be able to wind the car out...) on city streets. Take it to the track... Have a real race.

Especially when we only initially knew of the *car*, not the owner.
It's a different story now, in my book. Personally, I go out of the way to be more courteous than usual in the 930. It's a high profile car as is, and I don't want to rub it is someone's face. "Hey, I'm a jack@ss in a fast car" just doesn't work for me.

All the cars seem to have impressive performance ... I am not a real big fan these days of running at those speeds on public roads . Not sure how old that guy is . I guess that is why I go the track these days ... I wouldn't be surprised if that car ends up wrapped around a pole some day or one of the guys running next to him ends up in his door .......
