935 Turbo,
Must say, it looks great. Most of all love the sound. I recently installed a Zork Tube and lovin it!! My neighbors on the other hand, might have a different opinion. Oh well... David |

That is a gutteral sound. I have a zork as well but never use it as my ears can't take it at idle. Once your off it's OK.
The body mods make a nice statement and the zork backs it up.

935 Turbo,
Forgot to ask...where did you get those mirrors from? Although the idle sounds a little low, it does sound a lot like mine as well. RarlyL8, When I first installed by Zork and started it up in the garage, my initial response was Oh My God that is loud. Since then, and after the idle settled down, it wasn't all that bad for me. You got to love the sound on acceleration though. Sounds like nothing else I have heard before. Especially through tunnels or driving through mutli-level parking lots. |

The motor sounds very lumpy to me... what type of CAMs are you running?
Interesting, but I have GT2-EVO CAMs and they are supposedly notorious for having a lumpy idle, but in my motor, the idle is very smooth and steady. It may have to do with the ignition timing in the Protomotive MAP ECU which gives it such a rock steady idle

BEAUTIFUL...in a very tough-guy-hairy-chested-macho sort of way!
As for the "zork", I loved mine, but needed a change. Being that I drive mine daily, I spend a lot of time on decel or at lower RPMs (driving through neighborhoods, parking lots, etc) and it was the popping and backfiring that got on my nerves. Cruising on an interstate it was perfectly fine. However, I've also just discovered that I had a cracked header, pretty much the entire time it was on...I might never have been able to pin-point the leak if I hadn't switched to the Borla XR-1 that's on there now. It really helped quiet some of the more "ugly" sounds that my engine was making. Now that the header leak is fixed, maybe I'll give the zork another try.

I have to say that I was not a fan of the 935 bumper or slant nose but DAMN!!!! your car is just stunning...... and the sound.... OMFG that sounds cool. Now I want a turbo BAAAAAD.
So whats the lag like? Is the engine free reving like a N/A motor? |

Any reason why you decided to fit the 993 GT2 tail, instead of the DP/Kremer tail? I would have thought it would have been more "era correct" for what you are building? Just curious
![]() I have never been a fan of Slantnose 911's, but after seeing Stephen Kaspar's MONSTER in the flesh, and your 935 replica, I've changed my mind

Thanks for compliments....
The problem with the real 935 tail is that is more than 50 cm over the rear end of the car....and on that side of the ocean, it's a little bit prohibited.....I'm really looking for something else, more in the concept 934/935.....and if you have pictures and adresses for better tails...that'll help me..... Exhaust pipe is only 30 cm stainless steel pipe....!!! direct from the K29 outlet.....

Wow! C'est COOL.
The typical french man will say this is impossible, or it does not exist. You, my mon ami, are not the typical french man! I like the way you have a radical dream and make it reality. The car sounds amazing. J'aime la France! Viva la France!
