surging at idle
 

My 86 stock turbo is surging at idle it will oscilliate between 600-900 rpm. When I give it enough throttle to get it to 1000 rpm it runs smooth.. Any ideas??
Other than that it runs pretty well. Well it does have a bit of a "break up problem under load when I hit the gas but this seems unrelated and is intermittant..

Check your IC o'rings.

ok will do , but you think that would cause the surging at idle ??

Yes, air will bypass the CIS measuring plate causing the car to run lean and hunt.
